Plose in Brixen offers you perfect conditions for an idyllic winter hike. Snowshoeing fans and ski touring enthusiasts will find deep, unspoilt snow on the slopes of Gabler in Puez-Ortes/Puez-Geisler Nature Park. Meanwhile, tobogganers will simply adore the 10km-long RudiRun: On one of South Tyrol’s longest toboggan runs, you’ll conquer some 1,000 metres of elevation – fun for the entire family is guaranteed on your holidays in Brixen.
Plose: your hiking paradise
The ascent by cable car already gives you fantastic views of Brixen and surroundings, which is then surpassed by the panoramic views of Sasso Putia/Peitlerkofel, Odle di Eores/Aferer Geisler, and Odle di Funes/Villnösser Geisler once you reach the top. From the mountain station at 2,050 metres above sea level, you can begin your day of adventure on varied walking and hiking routes, such as the WoodyWalk experience trail. If you take the Pfannspitz cable car, you can even enjoy a three-peak tour of Plose, Pfannspitz, and Gabler without too much effort.
